Actually, I thought it looked immensely beautiful (though your picture does not do it justice in any way I'm afraid). I was driving home yesterday and could barely focus on the road because I kept staring at the moon. If I thought my camera would've been able to replicate its beauty I would've bothered but I know when I'm beaten ;)
